At Muscled Up Movers, we prioritize your convenience and flexibility:

- You have the freedom to choose your preferred start time for all dedicated three-hour minimum moves.
- We don't burden you with additional fees for the journey from our office to your load location or the return trip from your unload destination, provided it's within a 24-minute radius of our office.
- We're at your service six days a week, every week, and even on Sundays during the first and last weekends of the month. Plus, our pricing remains consistent, with no upcharges on prime days like Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays.

For those early birds and those who prefer precise start times, we offer three-hour minimum moves starting as early as 9 am. For afternoon moves, following a morning session with an open window start time, we provide two-hour minimum moves, typically starting between 12 pm and 6 pm. Rest assured, we'll call you 30 minutes in advance to confirm the precise start time for afternoon moves. If the afternoon window doesn't align with your schedule, we recommend opting for a three-hour minimum move, where you get to choose your start time.

For smaller jobs involving one or two items, we offer a one-hour minimum move with guidelines similar to a two-hour minimum. Any additional time beyond the first hour is prorated in 15-minute increments.

For added convenience, we can create a bundled package tailored to your specific needs, including your move, packing supplies, and cleaning services. Our flexible monthly payment plans cater to your preferences, whether you opt for a 4-month, 6-month, 12-month, 18-month, or 24-month arrangement.

Please note that certain heavy items such as hot tubs, pianos, and safes require a two-hour minimum, but we'll provide you with a dedicated starting time, preferably at 10 am. Your satisfaction and peace of mind are our top priorities at Muscled Up Movers.

  • Need more guys? No problem! Just add an additional $35 for each additional Muscled Mover needed. Insurance and taxes are already factored into your hourly rate. 
  • Need a 2nd truck? We got you! It's only $230 per truck per day (includes 2nd Supply Fee). Our trucks are 26' long, like all typical non-CDL moving trucks.
  • Your $95 Service Fee includes your 1st truck (if needed), dollies, bungees, stretch wrap, moving blankets/pads, two 20' floor runners (for that Red Carpet treatment!), door jambs, and a complete tool kit for disassembling/reassembling furniture as needed.
  • If you are moving to or from a 3rd floor or higher walk-up apartment, we do not charge extra. However, we do require these moves to be a dedicated start/ 3-hour minimum, with a 3-man crew at $190 an hour.
  • 3rd FLOOR EXCEPTIONS: 1-bedroom, 3rd-floor apartments to 1st floor (and vice versa) may be able to choose either a 3-hour min/2-man move OR a 2-hour min/3-man move. *Please ask your representative!
  • ALSO- any 3rd-floor move with 15 items or more must be a 3-hour min/ 3-man move. 

Extra Fees

  • It can be extremely risky to move items with extra weight, any single item weighing 400 pounds or more will have a $100 Heavy Item Fee (HIF) and requires 3 Muscled Men. Items weighing 800 pounds or more will require the $100 HIF and 4 Muscled Men. Items weighing around 1,000 pounds or so can usually be moved by 6 of our guys and requires an extra HIF of $175, but the amount of Muscled Men needed will vary depending on an item's weight, shape, and accessibility. These items include, but are not limited to: gun safes, hot tubs, swim spas & jacuzzis, pianos, marble slabs, concrete statues, etc. This is to cover the property and surrounding items, as well as the health care of our men's well-being.
  • As time progresses, new aged and very delicate items evolve such as Big Green Eggs, Curved Televisions, Smart Refrigerators, Marble, and rare/fragile antiques. For Muscled Up Movers to absorb the risk of these items we are required to charge a Specialty/Precious Item Fee of $200. This adds additional insurance to said item. You are welcome to waive this fee, but PLEASE NOTE: it does put insurance back at the standard 60 cents per pound when waived.
  • On occasion, we are asked to do a load, wait a few hours while a signing is done, and come back and unload. Or, we are scheduled to be at a load at a specific and confirmed time, and then receive a phone call that our client needs to meet us a little later. In both of these scenarios, we understand and are absolutely happy to help. Please understand that your movers still deserve to be paid while they are working, just like anyone else. In these circumstances, please note that there is a $25 per man per hour waiting fee. In the case of waiting between load and unload on the same day, Muscled Up Movers will cover one hour and use it as a company-paid lunch for your crew. The rest of the time will be reflected on your clock/invoice. For delayed start times, the waiting fee will start at your scheduled time and end when your movers arrive and start the work clock. We really hope you understand. Our movers are the heart and soul of our company, and we cannot ask them to sit at work for free. We have to do what is fair for everyone.
  • Being able to do Emergency and Same Day moves are one thing that really set us apart from other companies. Regardless of the reason, we are asked on no less than a weekly basis if we can send a crew out within a few hours of a client calling us. We are more than happy to do so! While we do have a large staff of well-trained and qualified movers, typically we do not have them just sitting at the office waiting on calls. This means our scheduling manager will need to call in a crew that is best for the specific move being requested. In these cases, there will be a $50 Same-Day rush fee added. It is a one-time fee, regardless of how many movers, trucks, or hours you need. We appreciate your understanding of this!

Storage

  • Muscled Up Movers has developed Short Term Storage options for you and your furniture. We can store/hold your furniture packed and wrapped in our trucks for a nightly holding fee of $100 (think of it like a hotel room for your furniture). 
  • We also offer Weekly Storage Unit options for $105 a week per standard 10' x 20' unit or $135 a week for 10' x 20' climate-controlled storage unit options. PLEASE NOTE:* an hourly rate for loading and unloading in and out of the truck(s) into and out of storage(s) is applied.

Drive/Travel Time

  • Our local moves are priced on an hourly rate like all other moving companies, but most companies will charge you a trip fee or "Drive Time" to travel to your locations(s), even when you are moving right down the road from their office. As long as you are within 24 minutes (or less, via GPS) from our Huntsville office, we start and end your clock at your load and unload, not our office. If you are 25 minutes or more, your travel time (minutes via GPS, with NO traffic) is added to your clock and is dependent on your location. There is no one, single, set travel fee; your location is absolutely taken into consideration to keep it as low as possible.

Deposits

  • We do require a $150 deposit to schedule your move if your move is a dedicated start time, you are a specialty heavy item move (piano, pool table, hot tub, etc.), if your move has drive time, if you're an eviction move, or if you are a corporate or commercial move. 
  • Any moves estimated over $1,500 does require a 75% deposit. This is to secure your highly valuable move & to classify your move as a VIP move. 
  • All one and two-hour minimum moves that do not meet the prior requirements require a $75 deposit.
  • Your deposit will go toward your move. 
  • Deposits are required to reserve your move. You have until 9am the day before to cancel or reschedule your move to maintain your deposit, if you cancel or reschedule after 9am the day prior you forfeit your deposit, cancellations are not accepted by messaging or messages. If you put down a 75% deposit there is a 10% penalty if cancelation is after the 1pm hour the day before. 

Payment

  • While we accept all forms of payment, please be aware that payment made by debit/credit cards do have a 3% processing fee. Cash is accepted for payment of your final balance, but is not acceptable for deposits. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
  • The 3% processing fee is waived for standard deposits of $150 or less.
  • For larger deposits required for long distance and out of state moves, we do accept cards, but prefer checks to prevent the 3% fee and keep your price as low as possible.
